Personal breakdown cover explained

What is Personal Breakdown Cover?
Personal Breakdown Cover is a type of roadside assistance that provides coverage for you as the driver, rather than just the vehicle. This means you’re protected no matter which car you’re driving — whether it's your own, a family member's, or even a rental car — so long as you're behind the wheel. Personal Cover is limited to a maximum of four persons per policy, and all persons must reside at the same home address.
With personal breakdown cover, if your vehicle breaks down, help will be sent to your location, whether you’re at home, on the road, or even on a trip far from home. The service typically includes roadside repairs, towing to a nearby garage if needed, and even onward travel arrangements if your car needs to be repaired for an extended period.
Can I get Personal Breakdown Cover for a vehicle of any age?
All of our policies cover vehicles up to 20 years old, with the exception of our European extension which covers vehicles up to 15 years old.
Are all vehicle types covered with personal breakdown cover?
Here at Veerkle, we cover any cars, van (up to 3.5 tonnes), motorcycle and electric vehicles. It’s important to check the policy wording for full details on what is and is not covered.
