Would you like cover if you are travelling to Europe?


Cover if your vehicle breaks down in the UK within 7 days before a European trip, and cannot be fixed in time for your trip, we’ll pay up to £500 for renting a car or re-booking your ferry or train tickets once your vehicle is repaired. Please see the full policy terms & conditions for full details about our European Extension.

Would you like to add cover for Parts & Labour?


Cover up to £500 towards the cost of repair or replacement of insured parts, labout and VAT following a breakdown. Please see the Policy Wording for a full list of what is and is not covered.

Would you like to add Pothole Cover?


Cover for the cost of damage to your motor vehicle’s wheels, tyres, suspension, bodywork/paint and headlights as a result of you hitting a pothole. Note, there is a claim limit for each section up to a maximum of £2,000.

Would you like to add Key Replacement in the event you lost your keys?


Cover for a replacement car or house key if it is lost, accidentally damaged or stolen, including locksmith charges, onward transport, hire car and accommodation costs, up to an annual limit of £1,500.

Would you like to hire a vehicle while yours is being repaired?


A hire vehicle can be provided up to a specified period of time if your vehicle is a total loss, badly damaged or undrivable to keep you on the move while your vehicle is being repaired.

This reimburses your motor insurance excess following a claim where you have been required to pay an excess as a result of the claim.

Eligibility

For any vehicle or personal policy, your cover is based upon the following:

  • It is a roadworthy car, motorcycle or van and it is currently not broken down.
  • It is registered in the UK and you are a permanent UK resident.
  • It can’t weigh more than 3.5 metric tons (3,500kg) in total, 7 metres in length, 2.25 metres wide and 3 metres high.
  • It is up to date with its MOT, tax and insurance.
  • It is not a campervan, minibus, limousine, motorhome or horsebox.
  • You are covered in the United Kingdom, unless the European Extension has been purchased.
  • It is not being used for courier or delivery services.

Auto Renewal

Don’t get caught without cover! To ensure continuous cover, your policy will automatically renew in 12 months unless you change your preference here. If you do choose to remove automatic renewal, and you fail to pay the renewal premium by the renewal date, you will no longer have breakdown cover should your vehicle break down.




Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel up to 14 days from the date you receive your policy documentation and we'll refund your premium in full. If you decide to cancel your policy after 14 days, no refund of premium will be available. We may cancel your policy at any time, by giving you 14 days' notice in writing where there is a valid reason for doing so. This may be where we reasonably suspect fraud or a non-payment of premium.
